This is a Workshop of six days duration, using an immersion approach. This Workshop was developed by the Brazilian Working Group of EBCP in partnership with New York Academy of Medicine and McMaster University.

This event depends upon international tutors’ contributions as well as national facilitators. It will take advantage of the knowledge of international tutors who are trained in both medicine and clinical epidemiology and are members of the Evidence Based Medicine Working Group from McMaster University. National co-facilitators will be involved in this project. Most of them have been trained in EBCP by either of the following Evidence Based Clinical Practice Workshops: McMaster or New York Academy of Medicine.

The workshop consists of small and large group sessions and individual study time. Morning large group sessions will address the main points of EBCP knowledge.  The other sessions will consist of small group sessions using a variety of educational models consistent with problem based learning methods.
